Here is how our interview process runs, stage by stage, so you can walk in already knowing what to expect.
Stage one, a short phone call
The first call is brief and it is mostly us listening. What are you doing now, what are you looking for, what would make a job worth leaving your current one. If you applied through a job board and cannot remember which listing it was, say so.
Stage two, the in-person conversation
This happens at our Rancho Cordova office, where you meet the people you would work with, in the room where the work is coordinated. We will walk through the role in detail, the nonprofit partners you would represent, what a normal day looks like, and where the work happens.
Bring your questions. Ask who you would report to and meet them if they are in, and ask how people here grow into coaching and leading campaigns.
Stage three, seeing the actual work
Reading about face to face outreach and watching it happen are different things, so this stage shows you the work itself. You spend time with the team in the field, watch how the conversations go, and see what the day actually involves.
What we are actually assessing
Not polish. Not a perfect resume. Whether you can hold a conversation with a stranger without either performing or shrinking, whether you take a correction and use it the same day, and whether you show up. Those are the three that predict how this goes, and none of them are things you can revise for the night before.
If you have a question this does not answer, call the office at (916) 530-2411 and ask.
Still have questions about Synergize Inc.? What we do, the partners we represent, and what the work involves are all on our questions page.
