Mentorship comes first
Every new team member works alongside someone experienced from day one. Outreach is a learned skill, and the fastest way to learn it is watching someone good do it, then doing it yourself with feedback. That is why our training is built around mentorship rather than manuals. You shadow, you practice, you get coached, and the coaching does not stop when the first week ends.
The work is hands-on from the start
Our campaigns happen in the field, at community events, school programs, and face-to-face outreach across the Sacramento region. New team members are part of that work early, because there is no classroom version of a real conversation with a real person. The skills the job builds, clear communication, resilience, reading people, planning and follow-through, are the same skills that carry a career anywhere.
Growth is the point
Leadership here is developed, not imported. Team members who master the fundamentals take on more: coaching newer teammates, coordinating events, and eventually leading campaigns. Our leadership team, including our CEO Kevin Swimmer, takes a hands-on approach to that development, because the company only grows as fast as its people do.
